Thomas A. SCOTT, 85, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Scott was born in Waveland, where he grew to manhood. A considerable part of his life was spent in Ladoga, from where he traveled as a shoe salesman. At the time of his death he was living with his son in Los Angeles. His death resulted from being struck by an automobile March 18. Besides the son there is one daughter, Mrs. Lorayne Scott Riser of Paris, Ill. The body was cremated and ashes brought to Ladoga for burial. He was a brother of Charles Scott, the founder of the Waveland Independent. -- kbz
